Who & Why should attend TIE’17 conference?

We welcome engineers, scientists, innovation specialists, technologists, project managers, entrepreneurs, business & management researchers, social scientists, creative artists and educators. The standard paradigm is that technologists discuss technological issues, entrepreneurs talk about entrepreneurship, and academics address the theoretical development. Each specialist focuses on own specific area. When we think about innovation, technological change, entrepreneurship in developing businesses, a singular disciplinary approach is not really helpful. What we need is a cross-disciplinary approach where different areas of people come together, such as engineers, scientists, technologist, sociologists, creative people from arts, entrepreneurs and people who specialise in innovation. The key is to get these people from different backgrounds to debate together; in this way it is possible to identify the key drivers for innovation, product development and change in our society. The purpose of this conference is to initiate this debate and share the cross-discipline knowledge thus, for authors, they should prepar their paper and presentations in a way that makes them accessible to all diciplines.
